Dear SLSDB Students,
As we embark on the new school year of 2024-25, it is with great joy and anticipation that I extend to each and every one of you a warm welcome back to St. Louis School of Don Bosco. With the theme of the Rector Major's strenna for this year in mind, "The Dream that makes you dream," let us together embrace the dreams and aspirations that will guide us through this academic journey.
1. Our Blessed Virgin Mary and the Bosconian Journey: Reflecting on our roots, we recognize the profound influence of Our Blessed Virgin Mary in guiding every Bosconian to SLSDB. Just as she watched over Don Bosco and his students, she continues to intercede for us, leading us to this place of learning and growth. Let us remember her presence and seek her guidance as we navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
2. Our Mission to Draw Closer to God: At the core of our educational mission is the desire to bring each student closer to God. As members of the SLSDB community, we are called to nurture not only academic excellence but also spiritual growth. Let us embrace this mission wholeheartedly, seeking to deepen our faith and strengthen our relationship with the Divine in all that we do.
3. Embracing Discipline and Excellence: By choosing to enroll in SLSDB, you have made a commitment to uphold the values and principles outlined in the Student Manual 2024-2025. These rules and regulations serve as a roadmap for instilling discipline, fostering academic excellence, and nurturing spiritual growth. Let us approach these guidelines with a spirit of humility and determination, understanding that they are essential tools for shaping us into well-rounded individuals prepared to make a positive impact on the world.
As we embark on this new academic year, let us hold fast to the dreams that inspire us, the values that guide us, and the faith that sustains us. Together, let us strive for excellence in all that we do, knowing that with God's grace, anything is possible. Wishing you all a fruitful and fulfilling year ahead. I remain,
Always in Don Bosco,
REV. FR. RONALD G. GUIAO, SDB DODT
This is your second home. You have come to this school of Saint John Bosco not only to have your mind trained, but your heart and your will as well. You want to become a student who can stand on your own at the end of your training with a well-developed mind, a purified heart, and a strong will.
As a Catholic Salesian School in the country, St. Louis School of Don Bosco aims at forming an Educative Pastoral Community where your children can grow into good Christians and honest Filipino Citizens according to the family spirit of St. John Bosco. In keeping with the family spirit of St. Jon Bosco, the school's system of education is characterized by Reason, Religion, and Loving Kindness and by the commitment to build an atmosphere where the students are put in the "moral impossibility of offending God" or, in short, the school uses the Preventive System of Education.

Our persistence as Bosconians is what makes us unique. We are able to strive and thrive to become the best versions of ourselves even powering through various setbacks that life gives.
GRADE 12 STEM Dela Torre
One attitude that sets us, Bosconians, apart is our strong sense of discipline rooted in faith and values. We consistently strive for excellence while staying grounded in humility, embodying the spirit of Don Bosco's teachings in both academics and daily life.
GRADE 11 STEM Calasanz
One attitude that sets Bosconians apart from other students is that wherever we go, we bring the values we have learned from school to the outside world. We also live out our Christ-centeredness in our daily activities.
GRADE 12 STEM Dela Torre
I believe that Bosconians possess a God-centered attitude. From what I have observed throughout my stay in this institution, the students here truly demonstrate a deep sense of faith and spirituality in their daily lives - from their active engagement in religious activities such as masses and retreats to their conscientious implementation of Christian values into their actions.
GRADE 11 ABM Romero
One commendable attitude that separates Bosconians from other students is our openness to all. We have kind ways of embracing everyone without making other people feel left and missed out. We have the ability to make friends without any tinge of difficulty.
